Cows & Baseball

We had a busy but relaxing weekend. We were up with the chickens (literally) on Saturday morning. We had breakfast on the farm. It was pretty special because it was at the Peter's Starlite Farm--the owners are the parent of one of my dearest friends from high school. We enjoyed plenty of food and then toured the farm. The kids also got to shoot archery, take a tractor train ride, pet the animals & check out a firetruck and ambulance. From there we headed to the ball diamond for Evan & Bryce's game. The played very well but could not pull it off. They lost 7-6 in the last inning. Sat. night, Mike and I went to the Brewer game and got to sit in the M&I Bank suite. All the food and drinks were on the house. It was a great game. The Brew Crew pulled off an exciting win. On Sunday, mom and I worked on Macie's room. We hung the curtains she made. They look great! We also hung some things on the wall. I am working on painting a little dresser for her. This week I will send my quilt squares out to the lady that will be putting the quilt together. All we need now is to bring our dear sweet girl home.
