A very busy & exciting weekend.......

It was the last weekend of football for the boys. They played at the same time in two different locations. Mike had to work, I had Market Day at church and Macie had her last swimming lesson. Well, we blew off the swimming lesson since that was at the same time both games started. Thanks to some friends, Grant went to his game w/a buddy and Evan went with one of his coaches. We got done with Market Day and headed to Evans game in time to see most of the 3rd & all of the 4th quarter. He did great. In his words "I pancaked two guys!" He was really excited. He was even more excited when one of his coaches told him he got a phone call from his wife who was at Grant's game & Grant caught a touchdown pass! He was so excited. He ran over to me to let me know. Right after Evan's game he headed to Grant's. It was already over, but he was VERY excited. The boys made a phone call to dad to give him the big news. Then it was home to have a quick lunch and get ready for Trick or Treat. Macie and I went shopping at Goodwill on Thursday and found the cutest dalmation costume for under $15. Evan went as a skater dude and Grant and my nephews Bryce & Drew wore their football jerseys and trick or treated for Unicef. I remember doing that as a kid. Mary Kate was a very cute little old man. We put a leash on Macie's costume and so the little old man could walk his dog. We met up with some friends and we had 3 adults and 14 kids. It was like hearding cats! (I stole that expression from another blog, but it describes it perfectly!) We had lots of fun. It was a little windy but the kids enjoyed themselves. Some where in between all of that, we stopped by Uncle Frank and Auntie Gay's to get pumpkins. Uncle Frank sure has a green thumb. Those pumpkins were pretty big! Thank you Uncle Frank & Auntie Gay!
