It has been busy around here as usual. Evan's basketball season is over. In his last tournament, he was awarded an ALL TOURNEY trophy. Three kids from each team are chosen as mvps by the coaches on the opposing teams. We are so proud of him. He had a really good season. Evan's team took 2nd place in the league. Grant's team took first place for the league. The 8th graders are headed to the Padre Serra tournament tonight. We are hoping for a win. Macie has been keeping herself busy. She loves to prepare recipes out of the Paula Dean Cookbook that she got from Nana for Christmas. She has made some yummy things for us. She has also been busy with her piano lessons, bowling, Chinese school and friends. With the days getting warmer, the kids have been outside as much as possible. The boys built a grind rail (if that is the correct term) for skateboarding. Evan took a nice digger off of it and scraped up his back. He was moving a little slow the next day, but he was right at it after that.

We are still waiting for travel approval from China to go get Bethany. It is so hard to predict when we will go. Timelines seem to be all over the place. Shelly & Madeline leave tomorrow morning to get Eli. We are so excited for them. I am hoping to get updated pictures next week. I will post them as soon as I get them.
