Beijing......

It was a full day (12+ hours) of touring today. Tianneman Square was huge & full of lots of people. Many vendors trying to sell you souviners & stuff. There were some beggers that kind of freaked out the kids a bit. It was a little overwhelming but we managed to get by. We had an excellent lunch. Picky eater, Grant discovered he likes lamb. Evan was more adventurous and tried 3 or 4 of the dishes. As always, they liked the rice. The temple of heaven was beautiful. The boys got their picture taken with some chinese boys at the forbidden city. They thought that was pretty cool. We had dinner at a Dai restaurant and they put on a show. Drew & Bryce would have been impressed with the dancing girls :) We ended the night with an incredible acrobat show. I have to admit, it was hard to keep our eyes open. In fact, Evan slept thru the entire show. He will have to watch the video. Tomorrow we will see the Great Wall and hopefully the Harley Davidson shop. Our guide, Jason is a harley fan as well as another woman in our group. Good night for now.
